Who we are
CBLG Residential offers specialized, intensive residential treatment for children with severe autism who exhibit behaviors that are both challenging and unsafe for themselves and others. Many of these children require hospitalization but face barriers such as limited hospital beds, staff training limitations, or restrictions on the types of diagnoses or functional levels accepted.
Our program provides a safe, structured environment that combines residential care with evidence-based therapies. CBLG Residential is funded through the Children's Habilitation Residential Program (CHRP) waiver, ensuring access to critical services for children who need them the most.

The Homes
CBLG Residential features two distinct residences, designed as stand-alone homes situated within the community, conveniently near parks, schools, and various amenities. Each child is provided with their own private room, ensuring they have a personal space to decompress and employ positive coping strategies, which helps reduce the likelihood of problem behaviors. Across both homes, we offer a total of nine rooms. One residence is located in central Colorado Springs within School District 11, while the other is situated in Eastern Colorado Springs in School District 49.
Time spent outdoors is a vital component of our program at CBLG Residential. Each home features fenced yards equipped with bicycles, trampolines, and swings, all designed to promote physical activity and provide opportunities for sensory engagement. These activities not only encourage exercise but also support the children’s sensory needs, fostering their overall well-being and enjoyment in a safe and nurturing environment.
At CBLG Residential, our mission is to enhance the lives of children with Autism and related disorders. We are dedicated to equipping children with the skills they need to return to their homes, schools, and communities feeling empowered and confident. Our goal is to foster a sense of calm, enabling them to actively participate in their lives and advocate for themselves.
